The online screening of the film "The Space Walker" organized by the Russia-Singapore Business Council and the Russian House in the Republic of Singapore took place on Friday (June 16).
The film depicts the events of the mid-1960s. At the beginning of the decade Yuri Gagarin made a flight, and the next was the spacewalk. For this mission to orbit went the ship "Voskhod-2". The commander - Pavel Belyaev, co-pilot - Alexey Leonov, who will stay in airless space for 12 minutes and 9 seconds.
"The Space Walker" was filmed entirely on stereo cameras. To work on scenes of Alexey Leonov in open space was created unique for Russia system of augmented reality – it allows the crew immediately see on the screen the actor's movement in a virtual near-Earth space.
More than a thousand people, predominantly from the Asia-Pacific region, joined the screening of the thrilling film. Foreign viewers noted the impeccable camerawork, the successful music, the visuals, and the terrific acting. "The visuals are great"; "The sense of involvement is amazing, thanks to the realistic historical setting and the professional acting"; "The film takes your breath away. At times it brings tears of joy and pride for our country " – some spectators shared comments.
