Russia-Singapore Business Council (RSBC) holds business, culture and sport events in the Asia-Pacific region on a regular basis.
Friendly sports competitions have a high social significance. Their main goals are to popularize and promote sport and a healthy lifestyle among young people, to attract children to sports schools, to encourage young athletes to new victories, and pay tribute to legendary athletes who have made a tremendous contribution to the development of world and national sport.
On 23 November, RSBC with the support of the Embassy of the Russian Federation will organize anniversary culture and sport events in Singapore. The programme of events includes:
- relay race with participants from Eurasia and Asia-Pacific (APAC) countries;
- master class in gymnastics from Russian gymnasts: four-time Olympic champion Alexei Nemov and two-time Olympic champion Svetlana Khorkina;
- photographing and autograph session.
“Master classes in gymnastics inspire young athletes and motivate them to work hard to achieve records”, – said four-time Olympic champion in artistic gymnastics Alexey Nemov.
