Screening of "The space walker" will take place in Singapore

On June 16, Russia-Singapore Business Council together with the Russian House in the Republic of Singapore will organise an online screening of the film "The space walker". The film is based on the historical event through which Alexey Leonov's name will forever remain in the history of space exploration.

The screening is organised as part of the joint cultural events of the Russia-Singapore Business Council and the Russian House in the Republic of Singapore. These events are a traditional way of introducing the history and culture of our great country, promoting mutual understanding and respect between the people of different countries, cultural understanding and trust.

The atmosphere of the film is close to the time when the events took place. The heroes created history, which is now handed down from generation to generation. During two days in space, seven abnormal situations occurred aboard the Voskhod-2, and for the first time in the history the landing had to be done manually. The roles of Alexey Leonov and Pavel Belyaev were played by Yevgeny Mironov and Konstantin Khabensky respectively.

Remaining an international space without borders, nationalities and regalia, space has for years beckoned explorers, scientists, writers and ordinary people from all countries. Russia is one of the world leaders, the first to conquer space, which has become a symbol of the fantastic, but very near future. During the film's premiere, Russian and foreign viewers noted that the release of "The space walker" was an unequivocally significant event for contemporary society and culture.

We invite everyone to follow the link and watch this outstanding film. We are sure that the screening will be of interest to a wide audience.
