NS Square at Marina Bay floating platform site targeted to be built by 2027
The project was initially slated to be completed by 2025, but delays caused by the Covid-19 pandemic and its impact on the construction sector pushed it back to end-2026. To facilitate construction, the stretch of Marina Promenade in front of The Float @ Marina Bay has been hoarded up and closed to pedestrian traffic from Wednesday.

People living in the northern part of Singapore can now enjoy their own green wellness spaces. Two therapeutic gardens opened in the north on Wednesday, in Yishun Pond Park and Sembawang Park, each with unique features designed to meet the needs of different users, including seniors, outpatients and children with special needs.

Once nearly extinct, rare Raffles’ banded langur numbers in Singapore set to double to 150 by 2038
By 2038, there will be about 150 of them in the local jungle. Macaques, on the other hand, don't need any protection. There are videos again online of these nimble hooligans opening windows in condos and climbing inside.
